Large majorities of all three groups answered this question correctly (83% of administrators, 87% of faculty, and 74% of students). As indicated by the answer distributions all three groups were thinking about grades in a confidential manner, meaning that regardless of whether they chose the correct answer, most people across the board attributed high-levels of restriction in terms of access to students’ overall course grades. In addition to high-rates of correct responses, “don’t know” response rates were very low, at 6% for administrators, 4% for faculty, and 4% for students, indicating high levels of consensus and confidence across the board.
