Individual Item Response Figures

Go Back

The following figures offer response comparisons across all three surveyed groups (faculty, administrators, and students) on an item-by-item basis for questions having to do with the levels of access to certain types of information on learning management systems (Q2-Q15). Correct responses (in accordance with answers given with top-level IT administrators at each CU campus) are indicated.

It should be noted that the interviews conducted with high-ranking IT administrators were specifically in regards to the LMS Canvas, as this became the standard system across all CU campuses beginning in 2018. Many of the survey responses (particularly student and faculty responses) were collected while D2L was still the primary LMS used on CU campuses. Some other survey responses are likely in regards to Blackboard, Moodle, or TWEN. The correct answers for Canvas are likely not quite the same for other learning management systems. We should be careful when making any generalized conclusions for this reason. However, because Canvas configurations were made to closely resemble those of previous flagship LMSs on CU campuses, (primarily D2L and Blackboard), we can assume that the correct answers collected from the interviews still hold a good degree of accuracy when comparing them to the responses of surveyed individuals.
