Both students and instructors are able to gain insight into this data. For students, it is more specifically aligned with how long they take in assessments and timed assignments, though other insights can also be gained from viewing browser history, keeping track of time logged on, etc. Instructors are able to see how long students have spent in their course on the LMS.
Correct response rates were comparatively low across administrators, faculty, and students, at 21%, 17%, and 10%, respectively. The majority of administrators (44%) answered “only the professor and the teaching assistants ( TAs) in the course, but not the student”, while the majority of both faculty (42%) and students (47%) opted for the “don’t know” response choice. This, along with a wide distribution of answer choices across the board indicates low levels of consensus and confidence in the correct answer.
